VALUES EDUCATION GROUP WORK WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS AS SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE

SOSYAL HİZMET UYGULAMASI OLARAK ÖZEL GEREKSİNİME SAHİP ÇOCUKLARLA DEĞERLER EĞİTİMİ GRUP ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

In the context of human rights and social justice principles and objectives of the social work profession, the trainings to be held within the scope of common and universal values with children with special needs; will help the child to create life and to create positive social interaction processes and to create a better society. In this context, the aim of the study is to examine the values education group work practices in the literature and to make them a whole. It is a source of interest for the professionals who want to work in this direction especially with individuals/children with special needs. In this context, literature review was conducted in the focus of group study on children and values education with special needs. In the group work; values, social work and value, with children / individuals with special needs under the title of value education group work and; The purpose of the study, the participants, who will be the structure, how to create the group process and method, how to structure and how to evaluate the process was emphasized. After that, sample group work was given.

Özet

Sosyal hizmet mesleğinin insan hakları ve sosyal adalet ilke ve amaçları kapsamında özel gereksinimli çocuklar ile ortak ve evrensel değerlerle yapılandırılacak olan eğitimler; çocuğun hayattan zevk almasında, bireysel ve toplumsal olumlu sosyal etkileşim süreçlerini yaratabilmesinde ve daha iyi bir toplumun oluşmasında kaynaklık edecektir. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı, öncelikle literatürde yer alan değerler eğitimi grup çalışması uygulamalarının incelenerek, bir bütün haline getirilmesidir. Özellikle özel gereksinime sahip bireylerle/çocuklarla bu yönde çalışma yapmak isteyen meslek elemanlarına bir kaynak oluşturmakla birlikte, grup çalışmasının bu alanı ile ilgili merak uyandırmaktır. Bu kapsamda özel gereksinimli çocuklar ve değerler eğitimi grup çalışması odağında literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Grup çalışmasının içeriğinde; değerler, sosyal hizmet ve değer, özel gereksinime sahip çocuklarla/bireylerle değerler eğitimi grup çalışması ve başlığı altında; grup çalışmasının amacı, katılımcılarının kimler olabileceği, yapısının nasıl meydana getirileceği, grup sürecinin ve yönteminin nasıl yapılandırılacağı, nasıl değerlendirileceği üzerinde durulmuştur. Sonrasında örnek grup çalışması yer verilmiştir.
