The Deviations in History Readings and Sunnetullah (Divine Law) as Neglected Reality

Abstract

Allah who has created people and demons to serve him, has sent his messages to the people through the messengers which he sent from Adam who was the first man and the prophet to Muhammad who was the last prophet. Allah has also created the Earth, which is the place where the adventure of servitude will pass, in accordance with the lives of people. In addition, Almighty Allah has set some laws in order to facilitate people's lives in the life of the world which will last until the Day of Resurrection and to analyze and make inferences on their decisions. In the case that these laws, which are invariable for all time, are correctly learned and taken into account, humanity will find ways to be happy in both worlds by taking healthy decisions. At this point, the importance of the science of history emerges. Because through the science of history which explores the adventures of people in time, it will be possible to learn the lives of previous generations with the right and wrong. However, in order to make correct inferences at this point, the universal laws which are called circumcision should not be ignored while benefiting from the science of history. Today, it is seen that the understanding of history of Muslims is influenced by the materialist approach of the West. As a result, Islamic history is handled by an incorrect method, and circumcision is neglected. This article deals with the neglect of circumcision as a significant error in the examination of historical events and the problems caused by this neglect. This effort is of great importance for making correct inferences about the future in order to correct the misinterpretations and solve the problems of the Islamic world.

İnsanları ve cinleri kendisine kulluk etmeleri için yaratan Allah Teâlâ, ilk insan ve peygamber olan Hz. Adem’den son peygamber olan Hz. Muhammed’e kadar gönderdiği elçiler vasıtasıyla mesajlarını kullarına ulaştırmıştır. Allah Teâlâ, kulluk serüveninin geçeceği mekân olan yeryüzünü de insanların yaşamasına uygun şekilde yaratmıştır. Ayrıca Yüce Allah, kıyamete kadar sürecek olan dünya hayatında insanların yaşamını kolaylaştırmak ve verecekleri kararlarda analiz edip çıkarımda bulunmalarını sağlamak için bazı yasalar koymuştur. Tüm zamanlar için değişmez nitelikte olan bu yasaların doğru şekilde öğrenilip dikkate alınması durumunda insanlık sağlıklı kararlar alarak, iki dünyada da mutlu olmanın yollarını bulacaktır. Bu noktada tarih ilminin önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Zira insanlığın zaman içerisinde geçirdiği serüvenleri inceleyen tarih ilmi sayesinde önceki nesillerin hayatlarını, doğrusuyla ve yanlışıyla öğrenme imkânı olacaktır. Ancak bu noktada doğru çıkarım yapılabilmesi için, tarih ilminden faydalanırken sünnetullah adı verilen evrensel yasaların da göz ardı edilmemesi gerekmektedir. Bugün bakıldığında Müslümanların tarih anlayışının, Batı’nın maddeci anlayışından etkilendiği görülmektedir. Bunun sonucu olarak da İslâm tarihi, sünnetullah ihmal edilerek yanlış bir metotla ele alınmaktadır. Bu makalede, tarihî olayların incelenmesinde düşülen önemli bir hata olarak sünnetullah’ın ihmal edilmesi ve bu ihmalin doğurduğu sorunlar ele alınmaktadır. Zira bu, yanlış yorumların düzeltilmesi ve İslâm dünyasının sorunlarının çözülmesi noktasında geleceğe dair doğru çıkarımların yapılması için büyük önem arz etmektedir.
