Two Cases of Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis With Severe Proteinuria

Abstract
Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis is a common cause of chronic glomerulonephritis in older children and adolescents. Patients may present with microscopic hematuria with or without mild proteinuria with nephrotic syndrome or hypertension with severe glomerulonephritis, accompanied by decreased glomerular filtration rate. Herein, we reported two cases presented with severe proteinuria and renal failure successfully managed with pulse steroid and mycophenolate mofetil treatment.
Özet
Membranoproliferatif glomerulonefrit, büyük çocuklarda ve adolesan grupta kronik glomerulonefritin sık görülen bir nedenidir. Hastalar, hafif proteinüri içeren veya içermeyen mikroskobik hematüriden nefrotik sendroma veya hipertansiyon ve azalmış glomerüler filtrasyon hızının eşlik ettiği ağır glomerulonefrit gibi değişken tablolarla başvurabilirler. Bu makalede, ağır proteinüri ve böbrek yetmezliği ile başvuran, pulse steroid ve mikofenolat mofetil ile başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edilmiş iki olgu sunulmuştur
