A rare case of ovarian ectopic pregnancy mimicking rupture of corpus hemorrhagicum

Korpus Hemorajikum Kist Rüptürünü Taklit Eden Ovaryan Ektopik Gebelik Olgusu

Abstract

Ectopic pregnancy and the rupture of corpus hemorrhagicum are fatal gynecological emergencies that comprise an important part of the causes of referring to the emergency services. 26 year old-gravida 1, para 1 woman was referred to our clinic with lower quadrant abdominal pain. In her medical history there were no delayed menstruation and the pregnancy test which practiced in an outside clinic, was reported as negative. According to the acute abdomen signs in the medical examination, emergency laparatomy has been performed. There was a mass that pretends to be ruptured hemorrhagic cyst prediagnostically was observed and excised. Pathology results of the patient, whose ßhCG value was measured post operatively as 2090mIU/mL, was compatible with ovarian ectopic pregnancy. The case of ovarian ectopic pregnancy, which is a rare situation and can be interfering with the rupture of corpus hemorrhagicum cyst, is presented with a brief literature review

Özet

Ektopik gebelik ve hemorajik kist rüptürü reprodüktif yaştaki kadınların acil servislere başvurularında önemli yer tutan ve yaşamı tehdit eden jinekolojik acillerdir. 26 yaşında Gravida 1, para 1 olan hasta acil jinekoloji polikliniğimize alt karın ağrısı nedeni ile başvurdu. Öyküsünde adet rötarı yoktu ve dış merkezde yapılan idrarda gebelik testinin negatif olduğu öğrenildi. Muayenesinde akut batın bulguları olması üzerine acil laparotomi kararı verildi. Sağ overde ön planda rüptüre hemorajik kist izlenimi veren kitle izlendi ve eksize edildi. Postoperatif öğrenilen ßhCG sonucu 2090 mIU/mL olan hastanın patoloji sonucu ovaryan ektopik gebelik ile uyumlu geldi. Nadir görülen ve hemorajik kist rüptürü ile karışabilen ovaryan ektopik gebelik olgusu kısa bir literatür özeti ile birlikte sunulmuştur.
