Abstract
Poststreptococcal autoimmünity has been described as an etiologic factor in the development of childhood-onset obsessive compulsive disorder and tic disorders including Tourette's disorders in the last two decades. In this article we presented the case of a five years old child who met the criteria ofpediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PAN- DAS). The case also meets obsessive compulsive disorder according to DSM-IV.
Özet
Son yirmi yıldır, çocukluk çağında başlayan Obsesif kompulsif bozukluk ve Tourette Sendromunu da içine alan tik bozukluklarının oluşmasında, streptokok enfeksiyonu sonrası otoimmünite, nedensel bir etken olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu makalede, streptokok enfeksiyonu ile ilişkili çocukluk dönemi (pediatrik) otoimmün nöropsikiyatrik bozukluk (PANDAS) ölçütlerini karşılayan beş yaşında bir kız çocuğu sunulmuştur. Olgu aynı zamanda DSM-IV (Mental Bozuklukların Tanısal ve Sayımsal El Kitabı, Dördüncü Baskı)'e göre Obsesif kompulsif bozukluk tanı ölçütlerini karşılamaktadır.
