Abstract
De Certeau is one of distinguished theorist of everyday life. He deals with the consumption of city life, rather than its' production. Operation, strategy and tactics are key concepts of De Certeau's sociology. This paper touchs upon some neglected or mistaken points in translated De Certeau's boks into Turkish language. De Certeau, he was theologist too, is a social scientist deserving the titles of everyday life's inventor or its' poet

De Certeau, gündelik hayat teorisinin önemli isimlerinden biridir. O, modern kent hayatının üretimden ziyade tüketilmesiyle ilgilenmiştir. Operasyon, strateji ve taktik kavramları, De Certau'nun sosyolojisinin anahtarlarıdır. Elinizdeki yazıda, Türkçeye tercüme edilen De Certau kitaplarının ihmal ettiği veya yanlış çevirdiği bazı noktalara da değinilecektir.
