Abstract
In the relations between the people of India and the Ottoman Empire, it is seen that the closeness of the Muslim society in India to the unity of thought and the Ottoman State plays an important role. The relations that started with the conquest of Istanbul were increased by the transition of the caliphate to the Ottoman Empire. This rapprochement between the Ottoman State and the Muslims of India has been strengthened and strengthened by the British occupation of India. The Muslims of India continued to keep the Ottoman Empire in spite of all the pressures of World War I and formed the Indian Caliphate Movement as a demonstration of this commitment. The movement, which has become increasingly popular, has led to the formation of a serious public opinion in the country by the support of community leaders like Mahatma Gandhi. Our work is to question the historical ties between the Ottoman State and the Indian Muslim community in general; in particular, the struggle of the Indian Caliphate Movement, an emirate of the love and loyalty of the Muslims of India to the Ottoman State will be discussed.
