Pathogenesis, Classification, Clinic, Diagnosis and Treatment in The Secondary Macular Hole

Abstract

Secondary macular hol (SMH) is defined the makular hole due to a spesific ocular pathology. SMH is the similar clinical features with those of idiopatic macular hole (IMH). The pathogenetic mechanisms for the formation of SMH are similar to those for IMH, with small variations, alhough the endication of surgery and prognosis is subtle. The predictive prognostic factors are the anatomical morphology of SMH, the preoperative visual acuity, the background pathology and the addiational ocular pathology, therefore, the prognosis of SMH is not as good as those of the prognosis of IMH.

Belirli göz patolojisine bağlı olarak gelişen makuler hole sekonder makuler hol denilir. Sekonder makuler hol (SMH), idiyopatik makuler hol (İMH) ile benzer klinik özelliklere sahiptir. Her nekadar cerrahi endikasyon ve prognoz belirsiz olsa, SMH’ün patogenetik mekanizması, küçük farklılıklarla beraber, İMH’e benzerdir. Tahmini prognostik faktörler, SMH’ün anatomik özellikleri, operasyon öncesi görme keskinliği, arka plandaki patoloji ve eşlik eden diğer göz patolojileridir, bundan dolayı, SMH’nin prognoz İMH ‘de ki kadar iyi değildir.
