Abstract
Semi-nomads, pursuing their economic and cultural lives according to the areas of Anatolia where their ethnic roots are found, are referred to as “Yörük/Yürük” (Nomad) or “Türkmen” (Turcoman). The nature of the geographical region also gave rise to cultural differences arising from the various economic enterprises preferred by each semi-nomadic group

Anadolu’nun coğrafî yapısına göre ekonomik ve kültürel hayatları şekillenen ko- nar-göçerler, etnik kökenden ziyade bulundukları coğrafyaya göre “Yörük” veya “Türkmen” isimleriyle anılmışlardır. Bu coğrafî yapının gereği olarak da konar- göçerlerin tercih ettikleri birçok farklı iktisadî teşebbüslerin doğurduğu kültürel farklılıklar oluşmuştur
