The Evaluation of Umm Salamah’s commentarial narrations

Abstract

Umm Salamah is an important name for the exegesis and the history of exegesis. The number of hadiths that she narrated three hundred and seventy-eight and the meaning of these narrations for the commentary, and interpratation, how the subject sources has not been investigated yet. Therefor is discussed in this article that the significance of Umm Salamah for the commentary and the history of commentary and the value of her narrations for these sciences by qualificial approach. In addition, different aspects of her exegesis’approach are provded and tried to define which issues she has wondered by questions. She has explaned abaut Qoran sciences, contrubuited the exegesis of verses by words-explicating. İn this way has she narrated datum from The Prophet.

Özet

Ümmü Seleme, tefsir ilmi ve tefsir tarihi için önemli bir isimdir. Naklettiği hadis sayısı üç yüz yetmiş sekizdir ve bu rivayetlerin tefsir ilmi için anlamı ve tefsir kaynaklarında nasıl yer aldığı konusu daha önce incelenmemiştir. Bu yüzden bu makalede, onun tefsir ilmi ve tefsir tarihi için anlamı üzerinde durulmakta ve rivayetlerinin değeri bu ilimler için niteliksel bir yaklaşımla ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca onun tefsir yaklaşımının farklı yönleri ortaya konulmakta ve sorduğu sorular aracılığı ile daha çok hangi konuları merak ettiği tespit edilmeye çalışılmaktadır. O, Kur’an ilimlerine yönelik açıklamalar yapmış, kelimeleri izah ederek ayetlerin tefsirine katkı sağlamış ve bu yönde Resulullah’tan bilgiler nakletmiştir.
