The Semio-Syntax of the State-Quality Nouns

Abstract

The compatibility of the state-quality nouns with the determiner bir "one" by means of the supplementary qualitative determination is expressed by the fact that the notions carried by these nouns cannot be actualized because they lack an intrinsic format and they are conceived as purely qualitative. The notions in question must be equipped with an extrinsic format in order to be actualized (to exist). The extrinsic format of these concepts is assigned by means of the qualitative supplementary determination through grading the quality.
