Criticism of Âlûsî to the Shia-Imamiyya Sect in the Context of Interpretation of the Verses of the Qur’anice Legal Verses

Abstract

Şihabüddîn Mahmûd al-Âlûsî (1802-1854) known for his famous commentary called Rûhu’l-Meânî, worked as Hanafi Chief Mufti of Baghdad is a distinguished scholar with his knowledge, intelligence, taqwa and sufi identity. In his voluminous commentary called Rûhu'l-Meânî, he also gave importance to the interpretations of the verses of judgement and unlike our other traditional interpretations, he pointed out to the views of Shia- Imamiyya. Alusi is a mufassir with personality far from bigotry, expressing his views in scientific style and morality. In addition, as a person from Baghdad, his more dealing with the views and attitudes of Shia-Imamiyye sect increases the importance of himself and his work in the analysis of the reflections of these approaches to the verses of judgement. In this study, it has been tried to be shown that how the Shia-Imamiyya consideration which constructs itself on a political basis that predominates Persian populism reflects on the interpretation of the verses with the analysis reflected from the lens of a careful and gentle scholar.

Özet

Şihâbüddîn Mahmûd el-Âlûsî (1802-1854), Rûhü’l-Meânî adlı meşhûr tefsiri ile tanınan, Bağdat’ın Hanefî başmüftülüğü görevini deruhte etmiş, ilmi, zekâsı, takvası ve sûfi kimliği ile bilinen güzide bir âlimdir. Rûhü’l-Meânî adlı hacimli tefsirinde ahkâm âyetlerinin yorumlarına da önem vermiş, diğer geleneksel tefsirlerimizden farklı olarak İmâmiyye şiasının görüşlerine daha çok temas etmiştir. Âlûsî taassuptan uzak bir kişilik yapısına sahip olan, ilmi usûl ve ahlak içerisinde görüşlerini beyan eden bir müfessirdir. Diğer taraftan bir Bağdatlı olarak Şii-imâmiyye fırkasının görüş ve tutumlarına daha çok muhatap olmuş olması, bu yaklaşımların ahkâm âyetlerine yansımalarının tahlilinde, kendisinin ve eserinin önemini artırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Fars kavmiyetçiliği ağır basan siyasî bir temelde kendini inşa eden Şii-İmâmî telakkinin, ahkâm âyetlerinin yorumuna nasıl aksettiği mudakkik ve mutedil bir müfessirin merceğinden yansıyan bazı analizlerle, gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.
