Progress of Proceedings in The Field of Human Resources Management: A Research on National Management and Organization Congresses

Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the change in the work done in the field of human resources management in Turkey within the scope of the National Management and Organization Congresses. In this context, papers in the field of human resources in the proceedings books published in the National Management and Organization Congress from 1993 to 2016, were subjected to content analysis in terms of the title of the paper, the institution authors (s) work, the number of authors, the research method used, and the sample. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the number of the proceedings in the field has increased since 2004 and that the most studied subjects are career management, strategic human resources management, performance management and quantitative methods are more preferred by the researchers.
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de insan kaynakları yönetimi alanında yapılan çalışmalardaki değişimi Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongreleri kapsamında incelemektir. Bu bağlamda, düzenlenmeye başladığı ilk yıl olan 1993’den 2016 yılına kadar Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongrelerinde yayımlanan bildiri kitaplarındaki insan kaynakları alanındaki bildiriler, bildiri başlığı, yazar(lar)ın çalıştıkları kurum, yazar sayısı, kullanılan araştırma yöntemi ve örneklem açısından içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda alandaki bildiri sayılarının 2004 yılından itibaren arttığı, en çok çalışılan konuların kariyer yönetimi, stratejik insan kaynakları yönetimi, performans yönetimi olduğu ve nicel yöntemlerin daha fazla tercih edildiği görülmüştür.
