Abstract

The rapid changes in the world of literature have a profound impact on the studies of translation. The technique of historiographic metafiction that is seen in the second half of the twentieth century but whose roots go back to the birth of novel is one of the subjects that must be analyzed in this context. The main purpose of this study is to discuss this technique through the analysis of John Fowles' work The French Lieutenant's Woman.
