Abstract

Tracingthe Matherhood Body and Fertility in Erendiz Atasü’s Novels Motherhood phenomenon is highly functional in the consolidation of the female fiction in the masculine ideology. It is important to read motherhood issue, which is the most important discussed issue of f eminism, through literature in terms of how the dominant construction of social structure is construction and how this solution and women's history are articulated. In this frame, the motherhood issue in Erendiz Atasü’s novels, who has acquired an undisputed place as a feminist writer in literature, will be analyzed within the framework of feminist criticism.Thus, it is believed that the way how a feminist author deciphers and transforms masculine ideologywith feminist consciousness will be important in making the fields of speech and struggle visible for women

Özet

Eril ideolojinin kadın kurgusunun pekiştirilmesinde annelik olgusu oldukça işlevseldir. Eril ideolojinin ve feminizmin en önemli tartışma alanlarından olan annelik meselesini, edebiyat üzerinden okumak, dolaşımdaki hâkim kurgunun nasıl çözüldüğünü ve kadın tarihiyle bu çözülmenin nasıl eklemlendiğini görmek açısından önemlidir. Bu çerçevede, ürettikleriyle edebiyat içinde feminist bir yazar olarak tartışmasız bir yer edinen Erendiz Atasü’nün, romanlarındaki annelik kurgusu feminist eleştiri çerçevesinde çözümlenecektir. Böylece Feminist bir yazarın feminist bilinçle eril ideolojiyi deşifre etme biçiminin kadınlar için söz ve mücadele alanlarını görünür kılmada önemli olacağı düşünülmektedir
