Özet

Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) is an acute-onset and immune-mediated disorder of the peripheral nervous system characterized by rapidly developing motor weakness. GBS patients often develop cranial nerve involvement, usually in the form of facial or pha-ryngeal weakness. Ocular involvement, and in particular, isolated ptosis without ophthalmoplegia are rare manifestations and may bring about considerable diagnostic challenges. Herein, we report a young man presenting with bilateral ptosis along with mild generalized weakness as initial manifestations of GBS.
