Abstract

Bikornuat uterus is a uterine anomaly characterized by the defect of the upper part of the mullerian canal. In cases of Bicornuat uterus septum, both diagnosis and treatment become complex and difficult. Apart from the fact that several cases and individual surgical experiences are presented in the literature, a general diagnosis and treatment method defined for such patients is not presented. In this case report we discussed the diagnosis and treatment of a rare hybrid septate uterus in the light of the literature.

Özet

Bikornuat uterus müllerian kanalın üst kısmının defekti ile karakterize bir uterin anomalidir. Bikornuat uterusa septumun eşlik ettiği durumlarda hem tanı hem de tedavi karmaşık ve zor bir hale gelmektedir. Literatürde birkaç olgu ve bireysel cerrahi deneyimler sunulması dışında bu tür hastalar için tanımlanmış genel bir tanı ve de tedavi yöntemi sunulmamıştır. Bu olgu sunumunda nadir görülen hibrit septat uterusun tanı ve tedavisini literatür eşliğinde tartıştık.
