An Evaluatıon of Recovery Costs’s Impact on Business Performance: Examples of Food Business

Abstract
For manufacturing enterprises it is extremely important to minimize production costs. Because in manufacturing enterprises cost of sales are determined by the cost factors used in production. One way of reducing those costs are recycling of used products in the production processes. The purpose of this study is to reveal the impact of recycling cost to business performance which arises from recycling of used products. This study, the impact of recycling operations to business performance is examined by using the data of recycling activities belonging to a company operating in food industry.
Özet
Üretim işletmeleri açısından üretim maliyetlerinin en aza indirilmesi son derece önemlidir. Çünkü üretim işletmelerinde satış maliyetini, üretimde kullanılan faktörlerin maliyetleri belirlemektedir. Kullanılmış ürünlerin yeniden üretim sürecinde değerlendirilmesi, bu maliyetlerin azaltılması yönünde atılan adımlardan biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kullanılmış ürünleri yeniden değerlendiren işletmelerin gerçekleştirdikleri geri kazanım faaliyetleri sonucu ortaya çıkan maliyetlerin, işletme performansına olan etkisinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Çalışmada, gıda sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir işletmenin verileri kullanılarak, işletmenin geri kazanım faaliyetinin, performansına olan etkileri incelenmiştir.
