The historical evaluation of surgical treatment in Hirschsprung’s disease

Abstract
Hirschsprung’s disease is a functional intestinal obstruction which develops due to absence of the ganglion cells in colon. The aim of this article is to present the historical evaluation of the disease and its surgical treatment.

Hirschsprung hastalığı kolonda gangliyon hücrelerinin yokluğuna bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan fonksiyonel bir bağırsak tıkanıklığı tablosudur. Bu makalede, hastalığın ve cerrahi tedavisinin tarihsel gelişiminin sunulması amaçlanmıştır.
