Pomological and morphological traits of some strawberry cultivars under Adana ecological conditions

Abstract
The experiment was carried out with 10 strawberry cultivars in summer planting system between 2000-2001 years. In the experiment, the beginning of flowering dates, the characteristics of chlorosis and vegetative growing, mean fruit weight and total soluble solid were determined in all cultivars. In the result, it was determined that Redlans Hope, Kabarla and Sweet Charlie showed lowest level of chloroz and Redlans Hope and Camarosa have vigour crowns. It was found that Redland Hope has the biggest fruits.
Özet
Araştırma 2000-2001 yılları arasında 10 çilek çeşidi ile yaz dikim sistemi kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Çeşitlerin Adana ekolojik koşullarında çiçeklenme başlangıç tarihleri, kloroz gösterme, vejetatif gelişme durumları, meyve ağırlığı ve suda çözünebilir kuru madde değerleri incelenmiştir. Deneme sonucunda incelenen 10 çilek çeşidi içinde Redlans Hope, Kabarla ve Sweet Charlie çeşitlerinin en az kloroz gösterdiği, en fazla vejetatif gelişmenin Redlans Hope ve Camarosa çeşitlerinde olduğu, en iri meyveli çeşidin Redlans Hope, en küçük meyveli çeşidin ise Selva olduğu saptanmıştır. En yüksek SÇKM içeriğine sahip çeşidin Rosa Linda olduğu, en az orana sahip çeşidin ise Chandler olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
