Abstract
Gastrointestinal lipomas are frequently found in the colon, and are usually derived from the submucosal layer. Pain, bleeding and consti- pation can be seen and must be treated in lesions greater than 3 cm. However, endoscopical methods are not preferred due to increased complication rates.
Özet
Gastrointestinal lipomlar en sık kolonda yerleşir. Sıklıkla submukozadan köken alan bu lezyonlar çapları 3 cmi geçince ağrı, kanama veya kabız- lığa neden olabilir. Büyük lipomlarda tedavi endikasyonu vardır, ancak endoskopik yöntemler komplikasyon riskinin fazla olmasından dolayı tercih edilmez.
