Analysis of Affecting the Factors over Fish Meat Consumption Tendency: The Case of Hakkari Province

Balıketi Tüketim Eğilimini Etkileyen Faktörlerin Analizi: Hakkari İli Örneği

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine status, tendency and factors influence on consumption of fish meat in Hakkari province. In the study, the survey were conducted with 202 households and data analyzed to using logistic regression method. Influenced factors on fish consumption trend were age, the state of being in the central district, education level, the status of the easy supply of fish meat, consumption frequency of fish, situation of fishing and aware of the situation about balanced and healthy nourishment. Making of the study is required about the importance of fish consumption and for the mobilization of existing aquaculture potential on the importance of fish consumption in the region

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı Hakkari ilinde balıketi tüketim durumu, eğilimi ve tüketime etki eden faktörleri tespit etmektir. Çalışmada 202 hane halkı ile anket çalışması yapılmış ve veriler logistik regresyon yöntemi kullanılarak analize tabi tutulmuştur. Hakkari ilinde balıketi tüketim eğilimini yaş, merkez ilçede bulunma durumu, eğitim seviyesi, balıketini kolay temin etme durumu, balıketi tüketim sıklığı, balık avlama durumu ve dengeli-sağlıklı beslenme konusunda balıketinin öneminin farkında olma durumunun etkilediği görülmüştür. Bu kapsamda beslenme açısından balık tüketiminin önemi konusunda sürekli ve rutin bir şekilde bilgilendirme çalışmalarının yapılması ve yörede mevcut olan su ürünleri yetiştiriciliği potansiyelinin harekete geçirilmesi için teşvik edici çalışmaların yapılması gerekmektedir
