Abstract

Satureja metastasiantha Rech.f. which was formerly known just only from North Iraq and endemic to Iraq is recorded for the first time for the Flora of Turkey. In addition to the description of the species, distribution map and photographs are given of the new Satureja L. record. The number of Satureja species in Turkey reaches to 16 species with this new species record.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, yalnızca Kuzey Irak’tan bilinen ve Irak’a endemik olan Satureja metastasiantha Rech.f. türü Türkiye florası için ilk kez kaydedilmiştir. Yeni Satureja L. (Kayakekiği) kaydının tür betimine ilave olarak yayılış haritası ve fotoğrafları verilmiştir. Bu yeni kayıt tür ile Türkiye’deki Satureja türü sayısı 16’ya ulaşmıştır.
