Özet

Araştırmanın amacı 7.sınıf Türkçe dersinde uygulanan aktif öğrenme modelinin öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme eğilimleri üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Erzurum da 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında yedinci sınıfa devam eden 59 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu öğrencilerden 29 öğrenci deney grubunu; 30-öğrenci de kontrol grubunu oluşturmaktır. Araştırmada deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada deneysel araştırma modellerinden ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ulaşılmak istenen verileri toplamak için Giancarlo, Blohm ve Urdan (2004) tarafından geliştirilen, Özdemir (2006) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme eğilimlerini ölçmek için geliştirilen Kaliforniya Zihinsel Güdülenme Ölçeği kullanılmış ve bu ölçek deney ve kontrol grubuna ön test ve son test olarak uygulanmıştır.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the effects of active learning model applied in the 7th grade Turkish Language course on students' critical thinking tendencies. The study group of the research consists of 59 students who were in the seventh grade during the academic year of 2016-2017 in Erzurum Province. Of these students, 29 students constituted the experimental group and 30 students constituted the control group. Experimental method was used in the study. In the quantitative part of the study, experimental design with pre-test post-test control group, which is one of the experimental research models. The California Mental Motivation Scale, developed to measure the students' critical thinking tendencies by Giancarlo, Blohm and Urdan (2004) adapted to Turkish by Özdemir (2006) was applied as pre-test and post- test in the experimental and control groups.
