Abstract

Persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC) is an unusual congenital heart disease. Although it has no hemodynamic insult to the heart, it may accompany other congenital heart pathologies. PLSVC is seen in 0.3%–0.5% of the normal population and 1.5%–10% of patients with other congenital heart abnormalities. In this report CT findings of PLSVC is presented.

Özet

Persistan sol superior vena kava (PSSVK) nadir görülen doğumsal bir kalp anomalisidir. Kalbe ek bir hemodinamik yük getirmemekle birlikte diğer konjenital kalp patolojilerine eşlik edebilmektedir. PSSVK, toplumda %0.3-0.5 konjenital kalp hastalığı olanlarda %1.5-10 oranında görülmektedir. Bu yazıda PSSVK saptanan olgunun cok kesitli bilgisayarlı tomografi (ÇKBT) bulguları sunulmaktadır.
