Media -Terror-Propaganda: Design of the PKK Terrorist Organization in the Turkish Press

Medya - Terör - Propaganda: Türk Basınında Terör Örgütü PKK'nın Tasarımı

Abstract

In this reseach, it's discussed that how the PKK terrorist organization have the press coverage that the subject of the iıews intensively in the newspapers having different ideological tendencies in Turkey and alsa tried ta deternıine that how the contribııtion of both the newspapers and actors except that representatives of terrorist organization ta the propaganda and legitinıization of the terrorist organization. Study was designed ta exanıine how the terror organizatioıı is designed in selected five newspapers, that having news directly or indirectly related to terrorisnı and terrorist organization by tlıe method of viewing news content analysis. The findings of the researclı propound that in tlıe propaganda and legitinıization of the terrorist organization, besides newspapers as well as political actors and the science environnıent are tlıe inıportant functions as the news actors.

Özet

Bu çalışmada Türkiye' de yoğun şekilde haberlere konu olan terör örgütü PKK'nın farklı ideolojik eğilimlere sahip olan gazetelerde ne şekilde yer bulduğu ele alınmakta ve hem gazetelerin hem terör örgütü temsilcileri dışındaki aktörlerin terör örgütünün propagandası ve meşrulaştırılmasına ne şekilde katkıda bulunduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmaktadır. Seçilen beş gazetede terör ve terör örgütü ile ilgili doğrudan veya dolaylı haberlerin içerik çözümlemesi yöntemiyle incelendiği araştırmada terör örgütünün ne şekilde tasarlandığı irdelenmektedir. Araştırmanın bulguları terör ve terör örgütünün propagandası ve meşrulaştırılmasında gazetelerin yanı sıra siyasal aktörler ve bilim çevrelerinin de haber aktörü olarak önemli bir işlev gördüğünü ortaya koymaktadır
