A poet one of the ottoman dynasty: Safiye Sultanzâde Mehmed Rezmî

Abstract
Safiye Sultanzâde Mehmed Rezmî who is a poet one of the Ottoman dynasty members lived in seventeenth century. Rezmî who is one of the grandsons of Murad IV served at various positions in the government during the reign of Mehmed IV and Ahmed III. The unique known literal work of Rezmî is divan. In his poems, it is possible to find lots of traces concerning the social life of his period. Divan of Rezmî is significant with respect to the details about himself and his environment, reflections of social life, local elements it contains and its language fertures.
Özet
Osmanlı hanedanına mensup şairlerden birisi olan Safiye Sultanzâde Mehmed Rezmî, 17. yüzyılda yaşamıştır. IV. Murad’ın torunlarından olan Rezmî, IV. Mehmed ve III. Ahmed dönemlerinde devletin çeşitli kademelerinde pek çok görev almıştır. Rezmî’nin bilinen tek eseri, divanıdır. Şiirlerinde dönemin sosyal hayatına dair pek çok iz bulmak mümkündür. Rezmî’nin divanı; şairin kendisine ve çevresine dair içerdiği bilgiler, sosyal hayata dair taşıdığı izler, barındırdığı yerel unsurlar ve dil özellikleri bakımından önemlidir.
