Review of the literature for a case with candidal esophagitis at HIV negative young adult patient

HIV negatif genç erişkin hastada kandidal özefajit olgusu nedeni ile literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Abstract

Candidal esophagitis, frequently seen in HIV seropositive patients, may develop in HIV seronegative patients due to various etiologic reasons. In this case, investigation of esophagitis diagnosis and the etiologic factors were aimed to be presented by using literature data. The potential contribution of severe emotional stress and depression to the etiology of esophageal candidiasis in a HIV seronegative case via the negative impact on the immunologic system was discussed.

Özet

Sıklıkla HIV seropozitif hastalarda görülen candidal özefajit HIV seronegatif hastalarda farklı etyolojik nedenlere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkabilir. Bu olgu ile sağlıklı genç bir erkekte kandidal özefajit tanısı ve etyolojik faktörlerin araştırılması literatür bilgileri kullanılarak sunulmak istenmiştir. HIV seronegatif olguda ağır emosyonel stres ve depresyonun da bağışıklık sistemi üzerine olumsuz etki ile özofageal candidiasis etyolojisinde yer alabileceği tartışılmıştır.
