Abstract

The Rationality of Belief in God and Needs for EvidenceOwing to the fact that man is a rational being, he or she has been in tendency to found his or her attitudes and choices and express them in rational patterns. The leading philosophers of theism and atheism made serious discussions about this topic and tried to express their justification of believing or refusal by using evidence. For the existence of God, mankind wasn’t contented with the ones that was provided by religions, but they tried to find evidence about the existence of God, thus in fact by making the subject intellecual they looked for the ways that would make them sure for the existence of God. Effort of evidence and proof intends to show that religious beliefs and thoughts are basically reasonable. In this study, we are going to investigate the man’s effort of making his belief of God as intellectual and the reasons that drive us to look for the evidence for the existence of God.
