The comparison of the sense of identity scale-K from scores during and after psychiatric crisis

Abstract

Objective: In this study we have investigated the sense of identity in people who were in psychiatric crisis states. Demographic data from and Sence of Identity Scale-K From (KDÖ-KF) were used to collect data. Method: The study is conducted in University of An¬kara Faculty of Medicine Crisis intervention Center. 49patients with the diagnosis of "psychiatric crisis" were given KDÖ-KF scale after the first assesment (1st application) and 6 weeks later (2nd applica¬tion). Results: The difference between the scores of the first and second application of KDÖ-KF scale was statistically significant (t=5.7, sd=48, p<.05). Conclusion: These findings are discussed ander the scope of the literatüre.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, psikiyatrik kriz durumundaki bireylerin, kriz durumu ve sonrasında kimlik duygusundaki değişmelerin araştırılması .amaçlanmıştır. Veriler Kimlik Duygusu Ölçeği-Köker Formu (KDÖ-KF) ile toplanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmaya A.Ü.T.F. Krize Müdahale Merkezine başvuran ve "psikiyatrik kriz" olarak değerlendirilen, 49 kişi alınmıştır. Başvurudan hemen sonra KDÖ-KF uygulaması yapılmış (I. Uygulama), altı hafta sonra uygulama tekrarlanmıştır (II. Uygulama). Bulgular: KDÖ-KF puanlarının ilk ve son uygulamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır (t=5.7, sd=48, p<. 05). Tartışma: Bu bulgular literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.
