Abstract

Religion, Enlightenment and its CriticsAs it is well known, religion emerging with humanity and leading the humanity in a way or another is a phenomenon which makes people think on religion problem according to their thinking power and capacity and put forward new approaches since people are reasonable creatures.Enlightment idea forming one of the important turning points of philosophy history, in the most general aspect, is accepted as a period taking shape with ideas that appears against all religious doctrine.For this reason, the aim of our research is to criticize views that are accepted to create the enlightment by reviewing the approaches that are put forwards against the religion in the enligtment age
