The Seasonal Variation of Macro Nutrients in The Leaves of Uslu Olive Variety

Abstract
The objective of the research was to determine the seasonal variations of leaf macroelements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg) of Uslu olive variety. The research was also undertaken to determine the stable period for leaf sampling in Uslu olive variety..Leaf samples were taken montly from 2009 May to 2010 April and analyzed leaf macroelements. Accordig to analysis results, the contents of N, P, K, Ca and Mg varied between 0.89-2.78 %, 0.10-0.14 %, 0.72-1.43 %, 1.21-2.23 %, 0.13-0.19 % respectively for Uslu variety.Results revealed that the stable period of macrolements is between November and January in Uslu olive variety and it can be recommended as the leaf sampling period for Uslu olive variety.

Bu çalışmada Uslu zeytin çeşidinin yapraklarındaki makroelementlerin (N, P, K, Ca, Mg) mevsimsel değişimlerinin incelenmesi ve bunun sonucunda yaprak örneklerinin alınması için en uygun dönemin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
