In this paper a short rescription of contagious agalactia and vaccinepreparation were summarized.Three types of vaccines were prepared :1 - The culture of agalactia and Ringer solution were mixedand inactiveted with formal!n and adsorbed by aluminiuro hydroxidegel.2 - The culture of agalactia was mixed with glycocal and phoshatebuffer and partially inactivated with formalin, adsorbed byaluminiuro hydroxide gel.3 - For control, vaccine was prepared according to the procedureof Prof. Zavagli employing infected milk infected tissue. These three types of vaccines were tested sterility, sarfety andpotency. The results of experiments were as fellows:The milk and tissue vaccines have produced % 50- 75 protection. In the comparison with the culture vaccine, the vaccine partially inactivatedby 2/10,000 formalin provided complete protection. Accordingto the results obtained in our work milk and tissue vaccinesreguired a dose of 5- 7 ml. subcutaneous; and the culture vaccinein doses of 0,25 - 0,5 ml. intracutaneously intracaudally gave good protection. It is necessary to conduct further studies and field tests todetermine the most satisfactory vaccine doses for sheep and goats.
