Abstract
In this study, the questions ‘what kind of social or scientifi c factors are effective in the functioning of scientifi c thought?’ and ‘what are the interactional and institutional functions in cognitive process?’ are discussed in the context of the ideas of Joseph Ben-David, a scientifi c knowledge sociologist, and the outcomes obtained are evaluated

Bu çalışmada, “bilimsel düşüncenin işleyişinde hangi toplumsal veya bilimsel etmenler etkilidir?” ve “etkileşimsel ve kurumsal yaklaşımların, bilişsel süreçte fonksiyonları nelerdir?” soruları, bilim sosyologu Joseph Ben-David’in düşünceleri bağlamında ele alınmakta ve elde ettiği sonuçlar değerlendirilmektedir
