THE EFFECT OF THE PRINTED MATERIAL AND FACE TO FACE TEACHING ON STUDENTS’ SUCCESS ON WEB BASED TEACHING

WEB TEMELLİ ÖĞRETİMDE BASILI MATERYAL VE YÜZ YÜZE ÖĞRETİMİN ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effects of printed material and face to face teaching on students’ success. Word processing module ECDL (European Computer Driving License), published material and face to face teaching have been used in the study. Research sample has totally 55 students. First group has 18, second group has 18, third group has 19 students. First group was given only the web site, the second group was given Web site and published material, and the third group was given Web site, published material and face to face teaching support. During the practice students were given the achievement test (as pre-test, post-test). At the end of the application third group has the highest score, second group has the second highest score and finally first group has the lowest score on test.

Özet

Bu araştırma web temelli öğretime destek olarak hazırlanan basılı materyal ve yüz yüze öğretim boyutlarının öğrenci başarısına etkisini belirlemek için yapılmıştır. Çalışmada ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) kelime işlemci işlemci modülü, buna destek olarak hazırlanan basılı materyal ve yüz yüze öğretim boyutları kullanılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemi toplam 55 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Birinci grup 18, İkinci grup 18, üçüncü grup ise 19 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Birinci gruba sadece web sitesi, ikinci gruba web sitesinin yanı sıra basılı materyal, üçüncü gruba web sitesi, basılı materyal ve yüz yüze öğretim desteği sunulmuştur. Uygulamalar sırasında öğrencilere başarı testi (ön test-son test) verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda üçüncü grup en başarılı grup, ikinci grup en başarılı ikinci grup ve birinci grup en başarılı üçüncü grup olmuştur.
