The similaritis of fiction and structure and type and theme in between the epics of Homer and the stories of Dede Qorqut

Abstract

In this study the stories of Dede Qorqut are compared with the epics of Homer. In the between these texts there are the considerable similaritis those are concerned with fiction, structure, topic, theme, type, manner and motif. It has been understood that the some of these similaritis had come from legends and talis belonging to The East. The influence between Homer and Dede Qorqut has come true thanks to myths. It is understood that Dede Qorput knew the Homer’s epics at level of motif and mythology. In these two work it is seen that the influence between cultures is a dynamic and intricate process and it is able to make national literatures to get rich.

Özet

Bu çalışmada Homeros destanları ile Dede Korkut hikâyeleri karşılaştırılmaktadır. Her iki metin arasında kurgu, yapı, konu, tema, tip ve motiflerle ilgili önemli benzerlikler mevcuttur. Bu benzer unsurlardan bazılarının doğu kaynaklı efsane ve masallardan alındığı görülmektedir. Eserler arasındaki etkileşim, mitoslar vasıtasıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Dede Korkut’un antik Yunan kültürüne ait Homeros destanlarını en az motif ve mitoslar seviyesinde bildiği anlaşılmaktadır. Bu iki eserde görüldüğü üzere kültürler arası etkileşim, millî edebiyatları zenginleştiren girift ve dinamik bir süreçtir.
