Abstract

The science of Qira'at (recitations) is among the most crucial disciplines aiding interpreters in achieving accurate exegesis. This research aims to shed light on the variations in both well-established and anomalous recitations within the story of Solomon (peace be upon him) in Surah An-Naml, exploring the repercussions of such variations on the broadening of meanings and the enrichment of their connotations. This study identifies over twenty locations where variations occur, with some stemming from regional Arabic dialects and linguistic nuances that bear no impact on the intended meaning, while others significantly influence the interpretation. Additionally, this research highlights discrepancies in pauses and commencements among scholars and examines their implications on the overall meaning. The findings of the study demonstrate that variations in recitations contribute to an expanded understanding without introducing contradictions. Instead, these variations complement each other, emphasizing the beauty of linguistic marvels and the perfection of rhetoric within the narrative.

Özet

Kıraat çeşitliliği, Kur’an-ı Kerîm’i diğer semavi kitaplardan ayıran özelliklerdendir.
