Abstract
The concepts of workplace inclusion and Islamic leadership, which have been important topics of study in business management in recent years, are the starting point of this study. The purpose of this study is to measure the knowledge and attitudes of senior managers about the concepts of workplace inclusiveness and Islamic leadership and to determine the role of Islamic leadership in the development of workplace inclusiveness. In the research, the concepts of leadership, Islamic leadership and workplace inclusiveness are discussed theoretically. In the application part of the research, interviews were conducted with managers with titles such as CEO, CFO, etc. operating in various sectors. Interviews with 33 senior managers were analyzed through MAXQDA, an analysis program suitable for qualitative analysis, and the data obtained were interpreted. As a result of the analysis, it was found that Islamic leadership and workplace inclusiveness are not well known in terms of business management in Turkey, but in practice, managers engage in both Islamic leadership behaviors and inclusive practices. As a result of this study, the awareness and definitions of the concepts were determined and the characteristics of these concepts were also tried to be determined. The inclusion activities of the organizations subject to the study, the leadership strategies they apply and the effect of Islamic leadership on workplace inclusiveness were determined.
