Abstract
This study aims to reveal preschool teachers' views on augmented reality (AR) technology. A qualitative method was used in the research. Interviews were conducted with 34 preschool teachers working in Erzurum province. The data were analyzed using descriptive and content analysis techniques. The findings show that teachers generally find AR useful, particularly in terms of increasing the retention of learning, capturing children's attention, and making abstract concepts concrete. However, it was determined that many teachers do not actively use AR technology in the classroom, and that this is due to a lack of technological infrastructure and insufficient knowledge. Attention was also drawn to certain risks, such as screen dependency and lack of physical activity. Overall, although preschool teachers are aware of the educational potential of AG and are interested in its use, structural and pedagogical barriers limit its effective implementation. Consequently, supporting teachers through training, providing the necessary equipment, and integrating AG into preschool programs are fundamental steps toward creating engaging, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences that maximize the benefits of AG technology in early childhood education.
