Abstract
\r\n The issue of security, which has been one of the most prominent issues of the International Relations discipline, has been discussed under different theoretical approaches. Within the theoretical framework of realism and neorealism, security has been evaluated under the issues of military power and distribution of power among the states. As a critique of this approach, the Copenhagen School has widened the context of security by placing emphasis on political, societal, military, economic and environmental sectors.\r\n
Özet
\r\n Uluslararası ilişkiler alanının en temel unsurlarından birini teşkil eden güvenlik, çok boyutlu yapısıyla farklı kuramsal değerlendirmelere konu olmuştur. Realizmin ve neo-realizmin kuramsal çerçevesinde güvenlik, askeri güç unsurları ve devletlerarası güç dağılımı kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımlara karşı eleştirel bir duruş sergileyen Kopenhag Okulu ise, geniş bir kapsamda ele aldığı güvenliğin politik, sosyal (toplumsal), ekonomik, askeri ve çevresel sektörlerine vurgu yapmıştır.\r\n
