Abstract
\r\n This paper is based on a study upon a vocational education organization, Vocational Police Schools. Having had a brief look at the concept police, police education, and the history of police education in Turkey, the paper investigates Vocational Police Schools which have been founded in 2001 in its a number of dimensions.\r\n

\r\n Bir mesleki eğitim kuruluşu olan Polis Meslek Yüksekokulları incelemenin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, Polis kavramı, polis eğitimi, ülkemizde polis eğitiminin tarihi gelişimi açıklanmakta ve 2001 yılında kurulan Polis Meslek Yüksekokulları çeşitli yönleriyle incelenmektedir.\r\n
