Abstract
Circumcision, like any other operation, is not complication-free and its complication rate ranges from 0,2 to 5%. The most severe complication of circumcision is the amputation of penis or glans. Inappropriate technique of circumcision is the most common cause of such complications. In this case presentation, circumcision and its complications have been discussed in a five year-old boy whose glans penis has been amputated during circumcision.
