Abstract
\r\n Offering a sociological approach to the formation of identities, this paper examines current debates in Turkey and argues that the modernist opponents of identity politics, such as proponents of nationalism and the class perspective, are themselves implicated in the politics of identity.\r\n
Özet
\r\n Bu yazı, toplumsal kimlik oluşumuna sosyolojik bir yaklaşım önermekte ve buradan hareketle kimlik siyasetleri konusunda Türkiye'deki güncel tartışmalara değinerek, kimlik siyasetlerine karşı çıkan milliyetçilik ve sınıfsalcılık gibi modernist akımların da aslında birer kimlik siyaseti örneği olduklarını savunmaktadır.\r\n
