L’education physique et interculturelle dans les ecoles francophones d’istanbul au debut du xx. eme siecle : le cas du football

Abstract

\r\n Söz konusu makalede, 20 y.y. başında Galatasaray Lisesi ve İstanbul Saint Joseph Erkek Lisesi'nde verilen kültürfizik derslerinin, öğrencilerin kültürlerarası iletişim becerilerine katkıları kültürlerarası eğitim kuramları ışığı altında incelenmektedir. Ayrıca, dönemin kültürfizik ders programında önemli bir yer tutan ve çok kültürlü (multiculturel) bir yapıya sahip olan futbolun eğitimdeki rolü ise dönemin beden eğitimi yaklaşımları açısından irdelenmiştir.\r\n

Özet

\r\n At the beginning of the 20th century, Galatasaray High School and Istanbul Saint Joseph High School offered physical-fitness classes to their students. In this article, contributions of these classes to the intercultural communication skills of the students have been examined by applying intercultural education theories. With its multicultural structure, football had a great place in the physical-fitness class schedule of the term. Thus, the role of football in the intercultural education has also been questioned in line with approaches to gymnastics classes.\r\n
