Abstract
\r\n One of the main problems of literature lessons is learners' lack of interest\r\n\r\n or their fear not to understand the works of literature. For this reason, it gets\r\n\r\n harder to employ one of the great epics in literature lessons. Furthermore, it gets\r\n\r\n much more difficult to attract the learners' attention if the literature lesson is done in a \r\n\r\n foreign language. In this article, it is planned to show how great epics can be\r\n\r\n employed in an entertaining way in the classes of German as a foreign language\r\n\r\n without boring the learners. Different operational and productive exercises\r\n\r\n through which the learners do the task independently and comprehendingly have\r\n\r\n been done. In this study, description letter, summarizing and picturing of specific\r\n\r\n pages in a foreign language, front and back book cover exercises for the novels\r\n\r\n “Crabwalk” by Günter Grass and “Serenade” by Zülfü Livaneli have been chosen\r\n\r\n and done with the learners. At the end of the study, there appeared the books that\r\n\r\n the learners own and have composed themselves.\r\n
Özet
\r\n Yazın derslerinin genel sorunlarından biri öğrenenlerin ilgilerinin az olması\r\n\r\n ya da yazın metnini anlamamaktan korkmalarıdır. Bu nedenle uzun anlatı\r\n\r\n türlerinden birini yazın dersinde işlemek daha da güçleşmektedir. Üstelik işlenecek\r\n\r\n olan yazın dersi bir de yabancı dilde yapılıyorsa öğrenenlerin ilgisini uyandırmak\r\n\r\n daha da zordur. Bu makalede uzun anlatı türlerinin yabancı dil olarak Almanca\r\n\r\n derslerinde sıkılmadan eğlenilerek nasıl işlenebileceği gösterilmeye çalışılmış ve\r\n\r\n öğrenenlerle, uzun anlatı türünü bağımsız ve anlayarak yapabilecekleri değişik\r\n\r\n eylemsel ve üretimsel alıştırmalar yapılmıştır. Uzun anlatı türlerine uygun değişik\r\n\r\n alıştırma tipleri bulunmasına rağmen, seminerde öğrenenlerle GünterGrass’ın\r\n\r\n “Yengeç Yürüyüşü” ve Zülfü Livaneli’nin “Serenad” adlı romanları için şu\r\n\r\n alıştırmalar seçilmiştir: Eşkâl mektubu oluşturma, romanlardaki belirli sayfa\r\n\r\n aralıklarının öğrenenler arasında bölüştürülerek yabancı dilde özetlenmesi ve bu\r\n\r\n sayfa aralıklarının resimlendirilmesi, kitap kapağı ve arka kapak oluşturmadır.\r\n\r\n Çalışmanın sonunda öğrenenlerin yabancı dilde kendilerinin oluşturdukları bir\r\n\r\n kitap ortaya çıkmıştır.\r\n
