Sinif öğretmeni adaylarinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin motivasyon düzeyleri

Abstract

\r\n The aim of this study is to underline the opinions of motivation levels of\r\n\r\n prospective primary school teachers concerning teaching profession and to clarify\r\n\r\n whether these opinions change or not based on their sex, year, grade and the high\r\n\r\n school they have graduated. The population of the study is made up of 1st,2nd, 3rd\r\n\r\n and 4th year prospective primary school teachers at Pamukkale University. As it is\r\n\r\n impossible to obtain the whole body of the population, the prospective primary school \r\n\r\n teachers were chosed as rated-group method. In sampling, 409 prospective\r\n\r\n primary school teachers were included. In the analysis of the data, “SPSS for\r\n\r\n Windows (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)”package program was used.\r\n\r\n The data of the study was obtained through the scale of “Motivation levels of\r\n\r\n prospective teachers regarding teaching profession”, which was developed by\r\n\r\n Acat and Yenilmez (2004). The Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient which\r\n\r\n was obtained at the end of the process was found as r=0.83. In evaluation of\r\n\r\n quantitative data, depictive and parametrical statistic techniques were used.\r\n\r\n Motivation levels of prospective primary school teachers is “I agree” with 62,8 %\r\n\r\n and X =3.89school teachers were chosed as rated-group method. Özet

\r\n Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik\r\n\r\n mesleğine yönelik motivasyon düzeyine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek ve bu\r\n\r\n görüşlerin cinsiyet, sınıf, öğrenim türü ve mezun olduğu lise değişkenlerine göre\r\n\r\n farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın evrenini Pamukkale\r\n\r\n Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören sınıf öğretmeni\r\n\r\n adayları oluşturmaktadır. Evrenin tamamına ulaşmak mümkün olmadığından sınıf\r\n\r\n öğretmeni adayları oranlı küme örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Örnekleme\r\n\r\n 409 sınıf öğretmeni adayı alınmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde “SPSS For\r\n\r\n Windows (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)” paket programı\r\n\r\n kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, Acat ve Yenilmez (2004) tarafından\r\n\r\n oluşturulan “Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğretmenlik Mesleğine İlişkin Motivasyon\r\n\r\n Düzeyleri” ölçeği uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda elde edilen\r\n\r\n Cronbach's Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı r= 0.83 bulunmuştur. Ankette elde edilen\r\n\r\n nicel verilerin değerlendirilmesinde betimsel ve parametrik istatistik teknikleri\r\n\r\n kullanılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin\r\n\r\n motivasyon düzeyi % 62,8 ve X =3.89 ile “katılıyorum” şeklindedir.\r\n
