Abstract

Mesture Erdalan's book " History of Erdelan "; It is of great importance due to various reasons such as the subject, writing technique, and the fact that the author is a woman. Many researchers and writers use this book on literary sciences, history, sociology, etc. They tried to examine it from different angles in fields such as. As a result of these studies, researchers believe that the literary aspect of the book is much stronger. The fact that there are lines of poetry, verses and hadiths in the book, and that many sentences are in the form of prose sentences in which literary arts are used, made its fluency and readability important. While writing the History of Erdelan, Mesture Erdelan benefited from oral sources and eyewitness testimonies as well as old sources. While describing historical events, he was content with generalizations without going into details. Although the author mentioned various sociological facts about the city of Sine (Sanandaj) in the book, he did not mention the facts of the city of Sine, such as tradition and clothing. In addition, the point of view of the Ash'ari school, to which the author belongs from the point of view of belief, has been effective both in the narrations in the book and in its narration.

Mesture Erdalanî’nin (1804-1847) Farsça kaleme aldığı Tarih-i Erdelan isimli kitabı konusu, yazım tekniği, yazarının kadın olması gibi çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı büyük bir öneme haizdir. Birçok araştırmacı ve yazar bu kitabı edebi ilimler, tarih, sosyoloji vb. gibi alanlarda farklı açılardan incelemeye çalışmışlardır. Bu çalışmalar sonucunda araştırmacılar, kitabın edebi yönünün çok daha güçlü olduğu kanaatine varmışlardır. Kitapta şiir dizelerinin, ayet ve hadislerin yer alması, birçok cümlenin edebi sanatların kullanıldığı nesir cümleler şeklinde olması onun akıcılığını ve okunurluğunu önemli kılmıştır. Mesture Erdelani, Tarih-i Erdelan’ı yazarken eski kaynakların yanı sıra, sözlü kaynaklardan ve görgü tanıklarının ifadelerinden de yaralanmıştır. Tarihi olayları anlatırken, ayrıntıya girmeden genellemelerle yetinmiştir. Yazar kitapta Sine (Senendec) şehri ile ilgili çeşitli sosyolojik olgulara değinmiş olsa da Sine şehrinin gelenek-görenek, giyim kuşam gibi olgulara değinmemiştir. Ayrıca yazarın itikadî açıdan mensup olduğu Eş’arî ekolünün bakış açısı hem kitaptaki rivayetlerde hem de anlatımında etkili olmuştur.
