Abstract
Otitıs media with effusion OME is one of the most prevalent diseases in childhood Eustachian tube dysfunction is the prominent mechanism in the pathogenesis of OME However allergy may also be a factor leading to OME in this age group Although there are many conflicts in the therapy of OME surgical treatment may benefit in especially chronic or persistant OME in children Key words: Allergy Otitis Media With Effusion
