YUNUSUN MEZARINDA OF EKREM ZEKİ ÜN’S PIECE FOR FLUTE AND PIANO

Abstract

This study gives information about the life and composition of Ekrem Zeki Ün who is one of our important Turkish composers. In addition to composing, violin virtuoso and orchestra conductor Ün’s musical contributions as an educator are also mentioned. Ekrem Zeki Ün has composed many works for solo instrument, chamber music, orchestra, singing and choir. For the flute, he composed Concerto, Sonate (for flute and piano), Rhapsody (for flute and chamber orchestra) and Yunus’un Mezarında (for the flute and piano). He has been inspired by Impressionist period French composers and Anatolian motifs. After 1955, he gave his works of maturity which completely reflect his own identity. In this work, the book titled “Yunus”un Mezarında “composed by Ekrem Zeki Ün for the flute and the piano was examined and facilitation exercises were presented in terms of executive.

Özet

Bu çalışma, önemli Türk bestecilerimizden olan Ekrem Zeki Ün’ün hayatı ve besteciliği hakkında bilgi vermektedir. Besteciliğinin yanı sıra, keman virtüözü ve orkestra şefi Ün’ün aynı zamanda eğitimci olarak müziğe katkılarından bahsedilmiştir. Ekrem Zeki Ün, solo enstrüman, oda müziği, orkestra, şan ve koro için birçok eser yazmıştır. Flüt için ise konçerto, flüt ve piyano sonatı, flüt ve yaylılar için Rapsodi, flüt ve piyano için Yunus’un Mezarında isimli eserleri bestelemiştir. Empresyonist Dönem Fransız bestecilerinden ve Anadolu motiflerinden etkilenmiştir. 1955 sonrasında tamamen kendi kimliğini yansıtan olgunluk dönemi eserlerini vermiştir. Bu çalışmada Ekrem Zeki Ün’ün flüt ve piyano için yazmış olduğu “Yunus’un Mezarında” isimli eseri incelenmiş ve icra yönünden kolaylaştırıcı çalışmalar sunulmuştur.
