Abstract
In this article, what the "expression" of globalisation means and for whom is dealt with firstly. It aims at uncovering the international hegemonial challenges carried out tacitly behind those expressions. In this context, the double meaning of globalisation is investigated. Besides, it was discussed if "peace" –expression of which is widely used in the globalisation process- would be possible in the atmosphere of unequal development that became widespread in the global world.

Bu incelemede, öncelikle küreselleşme söyleminin kim için neyi ifade ettiği ele alınmıştır. Bu söylemin arkasında örtük olarak yürütülen uluslararası hegemonya mücadelelerinin açığa çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, küreselleşmenin çifte anlamı irdelenmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca, küreselleşme döneminin en yoğun olarak kullandığı barış söyleminin küresel dünyanın yaygınlaştırdığı eşitsiz gelişme ortamında mümkün olup olamayacağı tartışılmıştır. .
